"Work it boo" I laughed as Desire modeled down the stairs for me.
"Sit down somwhere" Trevon huffed rolling his eyes as he played the game.
"Shut up fat head" Desire shot back.
"Both of you shut up" Tay said walking through the front door.
"Get off that game and do your homework"
"I already did it pops" He said.
Tay looked at me and I nodded confirming that he was telling the truth.
"Let me talk to you real quick" He nodded his head towards the door.
I followed him onto the porch "Yes brother" I asked sitting next to him.
"You been good" He asked.
"Yes sir" I nodded.
"Just making sure you straight" He bumped into my shoulder smirking.
"Yeah I'm good"
"Harmony" Darrian sang walking towards us.
"Darrian" I said mocking his tone.
"Tiyanna coming home in two days" He told me.
"Finally! I haven't seen her in forever"
Tiyanna went to the Army and her four years were finally over and she could come home for good unless she decided to go back and do another 4 years.
As Darrian and Tay were involved in there own conversation I looked down at my phone seeing a incoming call. It was Trent.
I hesitated before answering.
"Hello"
"I need to talk to you about something can you come over real quick"
I bit my lip not knowing if I should go or not.
"Yeah I'll be there in 5" I said because it was just two blocks away.
I hung up the phone turning back to my brothers.
"I'll be back i'm gonna umm...run to the store for my friend real quick" I lied knowing they would throw a for if they knew were I was really going.
"Alright" Tay said.

"So" I question as I sat on Trent's couch and it was silent between us.
"I need for you to be calm when I tell you this"
"Okay" I said confused.
"I got a call from my doctor this morning" He said leaning forward rubbing his hands together.
"Is everything okay" I asked rubbing his back.
"I was tested HIV positive but it's not bad it's curable"
I froze for a minute remembering that we did it raw last night.
"What the fuck Trent" I snapped pushing him.
"I'm sorry" He said trying to grab me.
"Don't touch me" I pushed him "Sorry ain't gone help shit. What if I have it and mine isn't curable"
"I -" He started but I cut him off.
"Your a grown ass man, if your gonna go sticking your dick in any and everything you should be smart enough to use protection"
"I know Harmony but it's to late now ain't shit I can do but say sorry" He yelled.
"Fuck you and your sorry" I yelled punching him in the face.
He held his face as I walked out of his house. I got in my car and sat there for a moment.
Throwing my head back and covering my face I broke down crying.
There was a knock on the passenger window. I looked over not even bothering to wipe my face. I unlocked it seeing that it was Jay.
He got in and I looked down as the tears continued.
"You okay" He asked me.
I shook my head wiping my face.
"What's wrong"
"There's a possibility that I could have HIV because that bitch ass nigga, and he thinks a sorry gone do something. What the fuck is a sorry gone do? Mother fuckers keep testing me and I'm done playing with these hoe ass niggas I should go in there and off his ass" I yelled hitting my hand on the steering wheel.
"Yo calm down" He said grabbing my hand.
"How the fuck am I supposed to be calm right now" I yelled crying.
He got out the car walking over to the drivers side opening the door. He grabbed me pulling me into a hug.
Jay was never really good with words and I knew that when he was actually trying to make somebody feel better he would always hug them. It always works.
"Jay what if I get tested positive" I questioned. "My kids could come out with it or worse I'll be dead within the next year or two"
"Don't say that shit" He said softly.
